Here’s a little about me. I’m married to the handsome Webmaster, and live in a suburb of Chicago. I’ve been a Chicago-area girl my whole life, except for a few years in Arkansas. (That’s a story for another day.) I’m the mother of two wonderful children and four wonderful bonus kids who make me proud every day. My five bonus grandkids (I’m Grandma LaLa) are the joys of my life, and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter this year.

I’ve been a teacher and a children’s librarian, both jobs that I’ve loved. Travel is an important part of my life, and the Webmaster and I also enjoy visiting National Parks all over the country. In the winter you can find me lounging poolside in southern Florida where we love being Snowbirds.
