I’ve written a few novels – all waiting to be picked up by an agent or publisher.
It’s a long process, but I’m trying! If you’d like to read samples of my longer
works, this is the place for you! Enjoy! (Feedback is always appreciated!)
This novel was inspired by the stories my dad told us kids about growing up in
Depression Era Chicago. It’s a novel in stories, each chapter a different year in his
life from age six to sixteen, and then the story jumps ahead to when Jack is twenty-
one and getting ready to join the army.
This was a fun novel to write. The genre is mystery, but in my opinion could also
be classified as commercial chick-lit comedy with a hint or two of romance.
This story is the first book of a five-book series, The Adventures of Roxie the
Camouflage Dog. It was inspired by my nephew’s family dog, Roxie, who seems
to blend in and disappear into her surroundings, even when she’s right in front of
you. I should know, I’ve tripped over her twice. This story (and series) is meant
for kids – about second grade – as a first chapter book.
